Personal Workspace

Terms of Service

Last updated: 19 October 2026

1. Nature of the service

Personal Workspace is a private, self-hosted assistant operated by a single individual for their own use. It is not a commercial product, is not offered to the general public, and has no registration, subscription or payment of any kind.

In these terms, "the service" means the Personal Workspace software running on its owner's private server, and "the owner" means the individual who operates it and whose Google Account it is authorised to access.

2. Who may use it

Use is limited to the owner. No third party is invited or permitted to create an account, sign in, or otherwise use the service. There is no mechanism to do so.

3. Google account access

The service connects to Google Calendar and Google Drive only with authorisation granted by the owner through Google's OAuth consent screen, and only within the scopes described in the Privacy Policy.

Authorisation can be withdrawn at any time from the owner's Google Account settings. Doing so ends the service's access to Google data immediately.

Use of Google services through this assistant remains subject to Google's own terms. Nothing here overrides them.

4. Acceptable use

The service must not be used to:

5. Automated responses

The assistant generates its output using a large language model. Such output can be incomplete or incorrect. It is provided for the owner's own working purposes and should not be relied upon as professional advice of any kind. The owner remains responsible for checking anything that matters before acting on it.

6. Availability

The service is provided on a best-effort basis, with no uptime commitment. It may be modified, interrupted or discontinued at any time without notice. It depends on third-party services, including Google APIs and an AI model provider, whose availability is outside the owner's control.

7. No warranty

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising out of or in connection with the use of the service.

9. Changes

These terms may be updated. The revision date at the top of this page will be changed when that happens.
